Carmine Blades 1: the darkest shade in a five-shade color progression

Designed for both beginner and experienced miniature painters, Carmine Blades 1 serves as the starting point for the Carmine Blades color progression. Its dark red tone allows you to enhance shadowed areas, define volumes, and create sharp contrasts, particularly on armor, clothing, and decorative elements.

The Warhammer Tone Pro system offers five complementary shades to easily achieve harmonious gradients:

• Carmine Blades 1: the darkest shade for deep shadows.
• Carmine Blades 2: a dark shade for initial transitions.
• Carmine Blades 3: a mid-tone for the main forms.
• Carmine Blades 4: a light shade for initial highlights.
• Carmine Blades 5: the lightest shade for bright highlights.

This intuitive progression allows you to master contrasts and reveal the forms of your miniatures with precision.
