Dataslate Grey 2: the second shade in a five-shade color progression

Designed for both beginner and experienced miniature painters, Dataslate Grey 2 represents the second step in the Dataslate Grey color progression. Its dark gray tone helps enhance volume, work on shading, and create natural transitions, particularly on armor, mechanical elements, and scenery.

The Warhammer Tone Pro system offers five complementary shades to easily create harmonious gradients:

• Dataslate Grey 1: the darkest shade for deep shadows.
• Dataslate Grey 2: a dark shade for initial transitions.
• Dataslate Grey 3: a mid-tone for primary volumes.
• Dataslate Grey 4: a light shade for initial highlights.
• Dataslate Grey 5: the lightest shade for luminous highlights.

This intuitive progression allows you to master contrasts and reveal the volumes of your miniatures with precision.
