Experience all the magic of One Piece with the famous Going Merry in a version directly inspired by the Netflix live-action series. This Bandai Hobby model kit from the Grand Ship Collection reimagines the Straw Hat Crew’s very first ship with a more realistic, organic, and incredibly immersive design.

From the moment you open the box, this kit captivates with its level of detail and visual accuracy. The wood textures, the iconic figurehead, and the ship’s proportions immediately bring to mind iconic scenes from the Netflix series. Every element has been designed to offer an enjoyable building experience and a spectacular final result, even without paint.

With its compact size of approximately 13 to 15 cm, this Going Merry easily finds its place in a One Piece collection, on a desk, a shelf, or at the heart of a display case dedicated to models and merchandise from the manga universe.

A realistic Live Action version faithful to the Netflix series

This edition of the Going Merry doesn’t simply replicate the classic anime design. Bandai offers here an interpretation directly inspired by the Netflix Live Action series, with much more detailed work on materials and finishes.

The ship’s wood features more pronounced reliefs and realistic textures that immediately enhance the model’s authentic look. The famous ram at the bow of the ship also benefits from more detailed sculpting, giving the Going Merry a unique presence once assembled.

The sails, decks, and various navigational elements perfectly capture the adventurous spirit of the Grand Line. This Live Action version brings a true breath of modernity to one of the most iconic ships in manga history.

One Piece fans will particularly appreciate:

• The design faithful to the Netflix series
• The realistic details of the wood and hull
• The presence of Luffy’s famous Jolly Roger
• The ideal size for display
• Bandai Hobby’s high-quality craftsmanship

A model kit accessible to both beginners and enthusiasts

The Going Merry Grand Ship Collection was designed to offer a simple, smooth, and satisfying assembly experience. Thanks to the Snap-fit system, the parts fit together easily without glue or complex tools.

The parts are color-injected for an excellent finish right out of the box. Even beginners can enjoy an impressive model without needing paint or prior modeling experience.

The illustrated manual provides step-by-step assembly instructions, making the experience particularly enjoyable. The included stickers allow you to add essential markings, including the famous pirate emblem on the mainsail.

For enthusiasts wishing to take the look even further, a few strokes of Gundam Marker in the grooves of the wood can enhance the contrasts and add more realism to the ship.

An ideal collectible for One Piece fans

The Going Merry is much more than just a ship in the One Piece universe. It represents the beginning of Luffy and his crew’s adventure, their first voyages on the Grand Line, and the series’ most memorable moments.

This Grand Ship Collection model perfectly captures that spirit of adventure and camaraderie. Once assembled, it becomes a true collector’s item that immediately catches the eye.

The included base features a dynamic wave effect that gives the impression the ship is cutting through the seas. The effect parts further enhance the sense of movement and sailing.
